"Psalm 19:1-4 Sky" is the first painting in which my gifts as an artist, my humble
skills as a calligrapher and my training as a theologian can finally come together into
one calling.
The idea came to me as I imagined what I would like to have hanging on the walls in
my own home. I deeply value God's precious words to us in the Bible, and long to be
reminded of certain special ones regularly. I also ardently love the great beauty which I
behold in the world that God created. And it was where these two passions coincided
that I came to the conclusion that the marriage of a painting with Scriptures-in a way not
often seen-was the answer.
It is one of my greatest thrills to create gorgeous artwork on various subject matter
infused with God's precious Word-beautifully hand painted and incorporated into the
composition. This painting is the first of what I hope to be many in this genre of my work.
